The brief for this new home was to create interaction and connection between the strong architectural exterior and interior. A contemporary style kitchen was a must to suit the detailing of the home, however the clients were keen to move away from a typical monochrome kitchen. Careful consideration went into the proportions of strong colour blocks, along with the combination of materials and finishes all while using a neutral palette.
A combined scullery/laundry takes pressure off the storage, preparation and clean up areas of the main kitchen.
